All About Us!

Welcome to our life....as simple and crazy as it may be! Things are crazy for our family right now. I'm currently working and in school finishing up my Nursing degree, while Brandon is working long, late hours, and our 3 kids are growing like weeds. Brogen is now 5, Capriece 3, and Briley will be 1 this month of December. I can't believe how fast time flies! We're still calling Northern Utah home for now, but a future move might be coming up due to my current school situation. Although things seem hectic we still try to enjoy the simple pleasures in life and in our family!

Day of Sledding!

Today we went out to the park to do some sledding and enjoy the snow! It actually managed to warm up enough so that we couldn't see our breathes anymore and the sun came out for a good part of the day. We took the kids over to the park where they have a few little bunny hills separating the soccer fields and where most of the kids in town come to do their sledding. Brogen jumped right on our little circular sled and flew down the hill with a big grin on his face. But Capriece was a little nervous at first. After a few runs sitting on mommys' lap she finally wanted to go down by herself. Daddy then started a little snow ball fight and Brogen and him had a blast. Capriece doesn't much like the snow touching her skin, so she was content just standing back and watching. We didn't get to build any snowmen though, the snow was still too cold and dry to be able to pack it together, but we still had a ton of fun!

Triming the Tree

Yesterday we got around to putting up or Christmas tree! Brogen and Capriece were so excited and helped out a lot, and it was so neat to see all of our pictures and keepsakes from years past. Capriece just had to point out every Santa and Snowman that she saw, and Brogen helped string the beads and picked great places to hang each decoration. This year will be me and Brandon's 5th Christmas together! We have tried to collect a special little ornament to celebrate each passing year, as well as special ones for the kid's first Christmas's too. Even though its still only a small collection of things its definitely a wonderful way to keep past memories alive! We enjoyed listening to good ol' fashioned Holiday music

Brogen's 3 year old pictures!

Each year the kids turn older I try to get their pictures done on or around their birthdays so that I can have a year-by-year album of them growing up! This year Brogen turned three and his Uncle Don took him out to the red rocks of St. George and took some really nice pictures. He has such a cute cheesy smile, where he scrunches up his eyes until they're almost closed and then bares all his teeth, but he's always smiled like that even when he was a little baby. Its just how he is and I think its totally adorable. The colors turned out really great and he did such a great job sitting still and following directions (he does that a lot more now that he's finally grown out of his terrible two's). All in all it turned out great. Hope you all like them as well!
